It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Geraldine Mary Osmond announces her passing on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 80 with her loving family by her side at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre. Born in Port aux Basques, she was the daughter of the late John Sr. and Annie (nee Allen) MacDonald. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 62 years, Alex Osmond, children, Craig (Christine) Osmond, Dion (Christine) Osmond, Joy (Derek) Hibbs, and daughter-in-law, Jane Osmond, grandchildren, Chad Osmond, Darren Osmond, Kyle Roberts, Shyla Roberts,Kyrah Christine Robertson, Kale David Robertson, Tanisha Osmond-Fowler, Andrew Hibbs, Alexander Hibbs, great-grandchildren, Winter Osmond, Summer Osmond, Billie Osmond-Fowler, Haylie Osmond-Fowler, Emma Enwood, Logan Billard, Sophia Ward, Taylor Osmond, Taylen Osmond, Chantelle Justine Robertson, Hayley Danielle Robertson and Savannah Lee Robertson, sisters and brothers in laws and a large circle of extended family. Geraldine was predeceased by her son, Carl Osmond. In keeping with Geraldine’s wishes, cremation had taken place. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 5th at 2:00 p.m. at St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Jane Allen officiating. Please note that in accordance with provincial regulations, proof of Covid-19 vaccination and mask will be needed to enter for the funeral service. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date.
