It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sheila Catherine Hibbs announces her passing on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 83. Born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia she was the daughter of the late, Joseph Martin and Alberta (nee MacDonald) Pickup.

Sheila leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons, Albert, Howard (Sandra) and Billy Hibbs and her only daughter, Dorothy Hibbs. She also leaves to mourn her brothers, Martin and Thadius Pickup and sisters, Nancy (Darryl) Day and Norma Haddock. She was predeceased by her husband, George Hibbs.

In keeping with Sheila’s wishes cremation has taken place with services at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made graciously to the family. The arrangements are under the care of Oceanside Funeral Home. Words of comfort can be sent to the family by visiting www.oceansidefh.ca
