It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Ross Pike announces his passing on July 15, 2023 at the age of 38 years.

Michael was a caring father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was born to Debbie and Ross Pike on June 18, 1985. After growing up in Labrador City, Michael decided to chase his dreams out West. His hard work paved the way for a rewarding career in the oil fields, but nothing made him prouder than being a dad to his four children; Payton, Ella, Isabel and Michael.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his parents Ross and Debbie Pike; children, Payton, Ella, Isabel, Michael and their mother Michelle Pike (LaVallee); sister Michele (Bill) Cooper; nephews: Lincoln, and Lukas; niece Leliana; as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Tom and Marion Dawe, Eric and Marie Pike, aunts Joan Seaward and Angela Dawe, and uncles Dennis Pike, Roger McNeil and Chesley Pink, all of Port aux Basques.

Cremation has taken place, and visitations will be held on Wednesday, August 9th from 2:00-4:00 P.M and 7:00-9:00 P.M at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read St., Port aux Basques. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 10th, at 11:00 A.M with Arch Deacon David Taylor officiating, interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
