It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wanda Courtney announces her passing on Monday, October 2nd, 2023 at Dr. Charles Legrow Health Center at the age of 70, with her loving family by her side. Born in Burnt Islands, Wanda was the daughter of the late Philip and Quennie (nee Keeping) Enwood.

Wanda leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories; her husband of 51 years Kevin Courtney, children, Grant Courtney (Gail Anderson) Pam (Mark) Jeans, and April Courtney (Duane MacDougall), grandchildren, Santana (Jr), Ashton, Dale, Dalton, Owen, great grandchildren, Jackson, William, and John. She will also be sadly missed by brothers and sisters, Angus Enwood, Florence (Vince) Ball, Lucy (Marty) Bryan, brothers and sisters in law, Gideon (Dora) Courtney, John Courtney, Claude (Marlene) Courtney, Sheila (Eric) Hatcher, Marie (Dave) Thorne, Yvonne Keeping (Don Gillam), Kathy Procter, Denise (Anthony) Munden, Henry (Anderine) Courtney, Margaret Courtney (Ronnie Keeping), Dion Courtney, Meta (Jabez) Keeping, and Arthur Seymour, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Wanda was predeceased by her parents, Philip and Quennie Enwood, parents in law, James and Meta Courtney,sister,Joan Enwood,brothers in law, Gordon Keeping, and Allan Procter sisters in law, Lavina Seymour and Cedella Enwood, and nephew Nolan Munden.

Wanda was an easy going, lovable person, who loved playing bingo, and cards with her card buddies. Family was her everything, and her grandchildren were her world. She will be sadly missed by all.

In keeping with Wandas wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place Saturday, October 7th at 3:00 P.M, at the place she loved most, her trailer.
