Albert Bennett Obituary

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Albert Bennett announce his passing on January 31, 2025, at the age of 79 years. Born in Bishop’s Falls, Albert was the son of the late Benjamin and Mary (nee Reid) Bennett.

Albert leaves to mourn with loving memories his son, Quinton (Tanya), daughter Marlo (Chris) Eveleigh, grandson Nicholas Eveleigh. He also leaves to mourn his siblings, Tom (Kathy) Bennett of Tompkins, Reed Bennett (Margaret Rose) of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Brenda (Garf) Pike of Mackenzie, BC, Donna Bennett of Grand Forks, BC and Paula (Paul) Wallman of Mission, BC, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Albert loved fishing and anything to do with the great outdoors. He was a mechanic and welder by trade, but was in many ways, a jack of all trades. He had a love of horses and in his lifetime enjoyed the companionship of one or more of his own. Many admired his quick wit and ability to always make you laugh. He will be deeply missed by those who had the pleasure to know and love him and will never be forgotten.

Albert was predeceased by his wife, Theresa, grandson, Joshua Bennett, sister, Joan Garner and brothers, Jerry and Quinton Bennett
