Obituary of Violet Billard

Please share a memory of Violet to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Violet Billard (nee Frampton) announces her passing with her loving family by her side at Brampton Civic Hospital on March 28th, 2025, at the age of 85. Violet was the daughter of the late Blanche (Hardy) Frampton and Robert Frampton. She leaves to mourn with loving memories her 3 children, sons, Clayton Jr. (Sandra), Robert (Shuk) and daughter Cindy (Steve) Kischak, 3 grandchildren Stefanie (Sean), Jeffrey (Justine) and Sarah. Violet also leaves to mourn brothers and sister Florence Devereaux, Reginald Frampton (Maxine) Ronald Frampton, sisters in law Hazel Frampton, Joan (Ron) Lee, Leona Billard, Kay Billard and Myra Billard plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Violet was predeceased by her devoted husband of 63 years , Reverend Clayton Billard, her brother William Frampton, and parents Blanche and Robert Frampton. Violet was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Through her 63 years of marriage to Clayton she willingly followed and supported him through their journey of life from Newfoundland to Ontario, then New Brunswick, back to Ontario again and finally back to Newfoundland. Clayton called it their “Full Circle”. Their strong faith and love carried them through a very happy and fulfilling life together. Once back in Newfoundland they travelled often back to Ontario to visit with their 3 children and families and once their precious grandchildren arrived those trips became more frequent and extended to spend as much time as possible with them. After Clayton passed, Violet spent her winters in Ontario with her children and grandchildren. It was in Ontario surrounded by her caring family when she became ill and passed away peacefully despite her own strength and the valiant efforts of the doctors and nurses at Brampton Civic Hospital, Violet went to be with God, Clayton and other beloved family and friends. She will be severely missed by her loving family and by all who knew and loved her. May God Bless and keep you, our Beautiful Mom and Nana. WE LOVE YOU ALL THE WORLD ! Visitations will be held at Oceanside Funeral Home on Thursday, April 3rd from 2:00-4:00 P.M and 7:00-9:00 P.M. The funeral service will take place on Friday, April 4th at 2:00 P.M at St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Jane Allen officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
