It is with great sadness that the families of the late Ruth Organ announce her passing on Monday, May 12th, 2025, at the age of 80, at Western Long-Term Care with her loving family by her side. Born in Isle aux Morts, Ruth was the daughter of the late Clayton and Ida Lillington.

Ruth will be sadly missed by her children, Dennis (Linda) Organ of Holyrood, Darren (Angie) Organ, Derek Organ, and Damon (Corinne) Organ, all of Isle aux Morts, grandchildren, Cody Organ, Mason Organ, Mckenzie Organ, Jesse Organ.

Ruth also leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters, Russell (Blanche) Lillington, Susanna (Rodney) Wells, Herman Lillington, brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger (JoAnn) Organ, Susan (Philip) Hibbs, Bishop John (Irene) Organ, Annie (Max) Clarke, Wanda Organ, Gladys Organ, George Best, Melissa Parsons, Jessie Thorne, Christina Lillington, Vera Lillington, special friend, Selina Pieroway, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband Hickman Organ, granddaughter, Katelyn Organ, brothers, Clayton Lillington, Richard Lillington, sister, Rosealie Best, brothers in law, Walter Thorne, William “Whitey” Parsons, Freeman (Marie) Organ, Dennis Organ, Arch Organ, Ronnie Organ, sister-in-law, Cecilia Organ, and father and mother-in-law, George and Sadie Organ.

Special thanks to Ruth’s homecare workers, Mildred Skinner, Denise Harvey, Norma Chaulk, and the nurses and staff of both Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Center, and Western Memorial Long Term Care unit for the care and compassion they had showed to Ruth over the last few years.

Visitation will take place at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts on Wednesday, May 14th, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 15th at 2:00 P.M, from Holy Spirit Church, with Rev. Annie Rose & Bishop John Organ officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in Ruth’s memory can be made to Holy Spirit Anglican Church.
