It is with great sadness that the family of the late Byron Joseph MacIsaac announces his peaceful passing on Friday, August 1st, 2025, with his loving family by his side at the Halifax Infirmary, Nova Scotia at the age of 45. Born in Stephenville, he was the son of Allan (Cora) and the late Melinda MacIsaac.
Byron leaves to mourn his loving partner, Heather, his daughter, Leila. He also leaves to mourn his, sister, Natasha (Johnny) brothers, Scott (Cindy), Aaron (Roxanne), Bernard and Christopher MacIsaac, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Byron was predeceased by his mother, his brothers, Ashley and Ambrose MacIsaac.
The family will be receiving family and friends at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, August 8, from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00 -9:00 p.m. with a wake service at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 9 at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Father Prakash, with interment to follow at Mount St. Thomas Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or donations in Byron’s memory can be made graciously to the family. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques.
