It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Hubert Kinslow Vautier announces his sudden passing on Friday, October 3, 2025, with his loving wife by his side, at the age of 84. Born in LaPoile, Hubert was the son of the late John and Adeline (nee Bond) Vautier.

Hubert leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 60 years, Shirley (nee Meade), his loving daughters, Charlaine (Reg) Lautermilch, Leona Ford (Colin Osmond) and Jeannette (Shane) Lomond, grandchildren, Kohl Vautier (Kristalyn), Sara Ford (Dawson), Erica Lomond (Mason), Jenny Ford (Donnie), Ashley (James) and Tristen Lomond.

He also leaves to mourn, his brothers and sisters, Max (Claire) Vautier, Gerald (Debbie) Vautier and Sybil King, brothers and sisters-in-laws, Harry Meade, Lorna (Ralph) LaFosse, Jessie Meade, Susie Thorne, and Gilbert Riles, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Hubert was predeceased by his son-in-law, Gus Ford, brothers and sisters, Albert Bond, Walter (Edna) Vautier, Chesley (Lois) Vautier, Carrie (Max) Stone, Kathleen (Jack) LeRiche, Amy Riles, and Mildred (Jack) King, brothers and sisters-in-laws, Gerald Wayne King, Loretta Vautier and Wallace Meade.

The family wishes to give many thanks to his wonderful caregivers, Geraldine Gale and Darlene Anderson.

Visitations will be held at Oceanside Funeral Home on Sunday, October 5th, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Oceanside Funeral Home on Monday, October 6th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Annie Rose officiating. In keeping with Hubert’s wishes, cremation to follow. Flowers accepted or donations in memory of Hubert can be made to charity of one’s choice.
