It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edith Margaret Coffin announce her passing on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 87 years.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Bill (Geraldine) and Derek; grandchildren: Chris (Teanna) and Crystal (Justin) Gosney; great-grandchild Damon Gosney; sister-in-law Florence Osmond; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Roy Coffin, parents William and Anetta Billard, brothers William Billard and Frederick (Irene) Billard, step-sister Minnie (Wilfred) Hulan, brothers-in-law Charlie Osmond and James (Francis) Coffin.

A special thank you to the staff at Westmount Estates and the doctors, nurses and staff at Corner Brook Long Term Care for taking such great care of our mother.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15 at 1:00 PM at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
