It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Robert James “Bobby” Spencer announces his passing on Friday, December 26th, 2025, at the age of 66. Born in Port aux Basques, he was the son of the late Alexander and Elsie (nee White) Spencer.

Bobby leaves to mourn his daughter, Terri, grandchildren, Liam and Alexis, his sister, Louise Piercey, his friends who became his caregivers, Linda Sheaves and Bruce LeMoine, neighbors, Holly and Brian Farrell, his friends and extended family.

Bobby loved trouting and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed sharing a few drinks with his buddies on Friday nights. A special thanks to Bobby’s caregivers over the last few years, Velda Tapp and Desiree Strickland and others that helped Bobby over the years.

Bobby was predeceased by his parents and extended family of the Spencer and White’s.

Family and friends may visit Oceanside Funeral Home, on Monday, December 29th from 7:00-9:00 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30th at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers accepted or donations in Bobby’s memory may be made to Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre Foundation. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Oceanside Funeral Home.
