It is with great sadness that the family of the late Una Edith Seymour announces her peaceful passing on Saturday, December 27th, 2025, with her loving family by her side at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, at the age of 91. Born in Isle aux Morts, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Elizabeth (nee Lillington) LeFrense.

Una leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children, Philip (Christine) Seymour, Barbara (Glenn) Keeping and Thomas (Sherry Huelin) Seymour, her pride and joy grandchildren, Travis (Tanisha) Keeping, Trent (Hannah) Keeping, Shane Seymour (Christina Osmond), Christopher (Shannon) Seymour, Kyle Seymour, Shelby (Ryan Hunter) Seymour , Josh Seymour and Jill Seymour, great grandchildren, Tori and Thomas Keeping and Oaklyn Seymour.

She also leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters, Randolph (Starla) LeFrense, Abbott (Ann) LeFrense, Betty (Charlie) Benoit, Maryann (Frank) Durnford, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Una was predeceased by her loving husband, Thomas, brothers and sisters Clayton LeFrense, John (Edna) LeFrense, Susanna (George) Crane, Doris Mae (Jim Dennis) and Barbara (Will) Crane, brothers and sisters -in-laws, George (Marion) Seymour, Lavina (William) Fraser, Leonra Bell and Mary (George) Huelin.

Family and friends may visit the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts on Monday, December 29th from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Annie Rose, with interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery. Flowers accepted or donations in Una ‘s memory may be made to Holy Spirit Anglican Church.
