It is with great sadness that the family of the late Martha MacIsaac announces her passing on Friday, January 23rd, 2026, at the age of 75. Born in the Codroy Valley, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Gertrude (nee MacNeil) Doucet.

Martha will be forever missed by her children, Natalie MacIsaac (Kelly Francis), Stuart (Jennifer) MacIsaac, Lesley (Fernando) Amaral, grandchildren, Caitlyn, Alexandra, Leanna, Hailey, and Sophie.

She also leaves to mourn, brother and sister, Walter (Bernadette) Doucet and Ada (Peter) Winters, brothers and sisters in law, Helen (Eli) Anderson, Leonard MacIsaac, Ann-Marie Doucet, Elaine Walker, and Cynthia Nippard, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Martha is predeceased by her husband, Maurice MacIsaac, her grandson, John Patrick Harvey, sisters and brothers, William “Billy” Doucet, Marie Gale, Genevieve (John) Delaney, Lorraine (Leslie) Peddle, brothers and sisters in law, John “Jack” O’Leary, Edward (Rita) MacIsaac, Robert MacIsaac, Peter MacIsaac, Anthony (Eileen) MacIsaac, and many more members of her extended family.

In keeping with Martha’s wishes cremation has taken place, and services will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Martha can be graciously made to the family.
