It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arthur Llewelyn Gillam announces his passing on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Center, at the age of 88. Born in Rose Blanche, Arthur was the son of the late Llewelyn and Florence (nee Anderson) Gillam.

Arthur leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his daughter, Maxine Gillam, brothers, Ivan (Ann) Gillam, Stan (Reena) Gillam, brothers and sisters in law, Bob (Harriet) Bragg, Gary Bragg, Roland (Beverly) Bragg, Sylvia (Don) Cauwdry, Merrill Durnford, Marie Bragg, and Lucy Bragg, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Linda Gillam, brother and sisters, Maxwell Gillam, Maria (Charles) Clevett, Bernice (Saul) Osmond, Louise (Henry) Clarke, Olive Conners, niece, Denise Conners, sisters in law, Kay (Eric) Ingram, Ida Durnford, and brothers in law, Horatio Bragg and James Bragg.

Family and friends may visit Oceanside Funeral Home on Thursday, March 5th, from 7:00-9:00 P.M. and Friday, March 6th, from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 7:00-9:00 P.M. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 7th, at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, with Rev. Kuda officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers are accepted, or donations in memory of Arthur can be graciously made to the family.
