Reg Frampton Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Reginald Robert Frampton announces his peaceful passing on Friday, March 6th, 2026, at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Center with his loving family by his side, at the age of 84. Born in Port aux Basques, Reg was the son of the late Robert and Blanche (nee Hardy) Frampton.

Reg leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories, his wife of 55 years, Maxine (Nee Richards) Frampton, children, Sherry (Shawn) Vautier, and Wayne Richards (Kim Wells), his pride and joy grandchildren, Samantha (Adrian) White, and Ryan Vautier (Jenna Skinner), and the apple of his eye, great granddaughter Lyla White.

He also leaves to mourn his sister, Florence Devereaux, his brother and best friend, Ronnie Frampton, brothers in law, Roy Richards (Marina Sheaves), Robert (Golda) Richards, sister in law, Hazel Frampton, and special nephew, Bobby Frampton, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Reg worked with Canada Post for 42 years. He was well known by many and greeted everyone with a smile that was nothing short of contagious. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in hunting, fishing, and sharing those moments with the people he loved. He welcomed company with open arms, and you could often find him reminiscing about hunting trips from years gone by—stories he told with pride and a spark in his eye.

He was a genuine soul who cared deeply for everyone he met. Reg’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends who were fortunate enough to know him and love him.

Reg was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Blanche Frampton, parents in law, Harold and Bertha Richards, brother, Willy Frampton, sister, Violet (Rev. Clayton) Billard, brother in law, Jim Devereaux and sister in law, Joan Richards.
