It is with great sadness that the family of the late John William Harvey announces his passing on Thursday, March 12th, 2026, at Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 89. Born in Isle aux Morts, he was the son of the late Thomas and Harriet (nee Scott) Harvey.

John will be missed by his children, Jerome (Debbie) Harvey, George Thomas (Kathy) Harvey, Gerald Harvey, Daisy (Robert) Keeping, Shirley (Jerome) Walters, Archie (Amanda) Harvey, Emmanuel Harvey, grandchildren, Sadie Harvey, Holly Walters, John Keeping, Tyler Walters, Kimberly Harvey, Zack Keeping, Vonda Chaulk, David Harvey, Daniel Harvey, great-grandchildren, Grady Keeping, Mason Harvey, Wesley Walters, Jada Walters, Kallie Walters, Cierra Keeping, Paisley Keeping, Luke Chaulk, and his brother, Levi (Phylius) Harvey, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred Harvey (nee Lovell) and parents, Thomas and Harriet Harvey.

We would like to thank the staff of Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Center, and all the staff of Mountain Hope Manor for the care and kindness they had shown to him over the years.

In keeping with John’s wishes no formal services will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John can be made to Holy Spirit Anglican Church of Isle aux Morts.
