Elias Osmond Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elias Osmond announces his passing on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Center, at the age of 81 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Port aux Basques, Elias was the son of the late Albert and Ellen (nee Battiste) Osmond.
Elias leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret Osmond, children, Connie (Tony) Leamon, Dean (Kimberly) Osmond, and Corina (Robert) Vickers, grandchildren, Travis Osmond, Katie Osmond, Toni (Spencer) Wright, Alex Vickers, and great grandchildren, Cohen, Rhett, and Tripp.
He also leaves to mourn, his sister, Rev. Jane Allen (Jim Morris), brothers and sisters in law, Ron (Millie) Skinner, Karl Skinner, Lucy (Don) Pack, Audrey (Wilson) Poole, William (Juanita) Skinner, John (Betty) Skinner, Harry (Joan) Skinner, and Rev. Kay Osmond, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Elias enjoyed his life to the fullest. He was a lifetime member of the Lions Club, and he was always excited for a good time with his family and friends. He loved music, and of course a few “swalleys”. One thing he always looked forward to annually was his Alberta Duck & Goose Shoot and spending time with his three little boys.
Elias was predeceased by his brothers George (Shirley) Osmond, Harold (Ruby) Osmond, Nelson Osmond, brother Stewart, and sister-in-law Lynn Skinner.
