It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late David Henry Neil announces his passing at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s on Thursday, June 25th, 2020 at the age of 58 with his loving family by his side. Born in LaPoile, Dave is the son of Evelyn (Taylor) and the late Henry Neil.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 36 years, Sandra (nee Vautier), daughters, Kelly (Mike) Dyke, Paradise and Katrina Neil (Ryan Seymour), Bay Roberts, his pride and joy, grandchildren, Lennox, Jack and Nick, brother, Darrell (Sandra) Neil, Margaree, sisters, Cathy (Brian) Chant, LaPoile, Claudine Neil, Port aux Basques and Corenna (Bill) Brown, St.John’s , grandmother, Violet Taylor, mother-in-law, Valda Vautier, brothers and sisters in laws, Lloyd Vautier, LaPoile, Ray (Lucy)Vautier, LaPoile, Donna (Gary) Meade, Port aux Basques, Maxine Vautier, Doyles, and Clarence (Marina) Vautier, Paradise, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Dave was predeceased by his father, Henry Neil, father-in-law, Clarence Vautier and grandfather, Percy Taylor.

Visitation taking place at Oceanside Funeral Home, on Monday, June 29th from 2-4 & 7-9. A private family service will be officiated by The Rev. Canon Jeffrey Petten. Interment to follow at St .James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
