It is with great sadness that the family of the late, Hilda Honor Warren (nee Martin) announce her passing on February 14th, 2021 at the age of 96 years old. “Onnie”, as she was known, will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Christine Kelly (Darryl, deceased) and Judy Warren (Harrison Bragg). Onnie dearly loved her five grandchildren: Wendy Sutton (Robb) Deer Lake, Joanne Babstock (Devon) Rocky Harbor, Richard Kelly (Andrea), Kilbride, Jeanna Taylor(Jenna Meade) Winnipeg and Jeremy Taylor (Laura Fancy) Brisbane, Australia, eight great grandchildren: Emma and Matt Sutton; Addie, Cambden and Cecily Babstock; Jake and Maria Kelly and Theo Taylor. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews whom she was very close to, as well as many good friends. She was predeceased by her husband John F Warren in 1997. Onnie enjoyed a career in book keeping and secretarial work but she always said the best years of her life were spent being a full time Mother. She adored children, believed in honesty and fairness, and lived every day with a strong faith in God. Onnie worked diligently for and dearly loved her church. Donations in her memory will be graciously accepted by St James Anglican Church, Port aux Basques. In keeping with Onnie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 13th at 2:00 P.M from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Jane Allen officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
