To the whole Gale family I was devastated to hear of the loss of your beautiful Kyla. It’s hard to imagine such loss, and I’m so sorry you are going through this. I had the absolute pleasure to teach Kyla in her ‘teen’ years at Father Beauregard School. This girl had the most positive vibe! Rather shy at first, Kyla later warmed up to you and then exuded the most exuberant personality. She was so very well liked by all who knew her, both students and staff, which was evidenced by her many long-time friends for life. She was authentic, creative and true to her self - a rare quality to distinguish in just your average teenager (at the time). She was inspiring to others in so many ways. With the most beautiful soul, her natural visible beauty just highlighted the purity of her heart. She will be undoubtedly missed. Sadly but surely, Heaven and Kyla’s loved ones have gained a beautiful angel indeed. Sending love and prayers to Kyla’s family and friends during this difficult time. RIP, sweet angel.

There’s so many memories it’s hard to pick one. Sleepover giggles, Edmonton trips, birthdays, my whole childhood was the 4 of us; Me, Jenna, Jody and Kyla. I loved when she would giggle, run away and do a ballerina kick. One of our sleepovers; Kyla made up a song (grade 3) and I swear we can still remember it. “3 blind mice, 3 blind mice, see how they run, see how they run, they all came tumbling after, and then they wanted some wa-ter, 3 blind mice, 3 blind mice”!! She was always doing the silliest, craziest things and didn’t care who was watching. She was the best at just being herself. We stayed in touch after I moved away and could pick up like old friends when we got together. I loved surprising them for visits. Forever thankful to have ran into her before she went to Newfoundland; it was such a great hug and such a good chat. ❤️ We said we would make plans when she got back; I’ll cherish our memories forever.
