It is with great sadness that the family of Winnifred Susannah Keeping (nee Hayman) announces her sudden but peaceful passing on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at the age of 68 with her loving family by her side. Born in Isle aux Morts, she was the daughter of Georgina Hayman and late Wilfred Hayman. She will be sadly missed and never forgotten by her husband Rodney of 50 years, her sons, Rodney and Randolph (Natasha) Keeping and daughter, Brandy (Paul) Frampton, grandchildren, Stacey (Paul) Ford, Hayley Frampton (Tyler Coley), Justin Keeping, Randie Keeping, Derek Frampton, Landon Keeping and Emmilyn Keeping and great grandson, Ethan Coley, and a large circle of sister and brother and sisters and brothers in laws, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends.

The family will be receiving family and friends on Wednesday, August 25th from 7:00- 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 26 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques. Funeral service will take place on Friday, August 27th at 11:00 a.m. from St. George’s Anglican Church in Burnt Islands, with Canon Rev. Jeffrey Petten officiating. In keeping with Winnifred’s wishes cremation to follow. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in memory of Winnifred can be made to the family.
