It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert “Bob” Blackmore announces his passing on Sunday, November 21st, 2021 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, at the age of 65. Born in Port aux Basques, Bob was the son of Eileen (nee Savery) and the late George Blackmore. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his wife of 42 years, Evelyn (nee Short) Blackmore, his daughters, Crystal (Shane) Smith and Candice (Justin) MacElwain, both of Lloydminster, AB, his grandchildren, Brandon, who was Poppy’s boy, Madison, Layla, Kayla, Zoey and Lincoln. Bob will be remembered by his brothers, David (Debbie) and Paul (Jean) Blackmore, brothers and sisters-in-laws, Eldon (Wavey) Short, Sylvia (Jeff) Lomond, Barbara (Gerald) Hackett and Lewis (Stacey) Short, and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Bob was predeceased by his father, George Blackmore. In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street.
