Obituary of Llewellyn Marks

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Llewellyn Marks announces his passing at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre on Thursday, December 27, 2018, with his loving family by his side at the age of 86. Born in Codroy he was the son of the late John and Mildred Marks.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Bernice of 32 years marriage, her brothers and sisters and their families, brothers, Jack and Frank (Helen), nieces, Sandra, Beverly, Lorie, Wendy, Glenna and Patricia, nephew, Angus and a large circle of friends and those who would bring him fish. His love for woodworking and gardening could be well seen around his home.

Llewellyn was predeceased by his brother Arthur, sisters, Mary, Angela, niece Meredith.

Arrangements are under the care of Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques. In keeping with Lew’s wishes,cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Codroy, NL ,The Rev. Clayton Billard officiating with interment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Codroy.
