Uncle James shared his love of music, the Valley, fishing spots for brookies and looked the other way when we'd need change to put on the tracks. A champion of the Festival and a lovely man who will be deeply missed.
Much love Andrew, Virginia and the boys.

Our condolences to the McIsaac family on the passing of a fine gentleman. I played along James quite a few times over the years and it was obvious that he loved the fiddle. Memories of the folk festival in the Valley and St. Kevin's center in St. Andrews come to mind. One note about James is that he was always prepared and very resourceful. Back in the 1990's, James along with Wayne and my brother Joe played at the folk festival in Terra Nova National Park. I joined them on these occasions and we had a great time. About being prepared. James was setting up his tent in the campground when I saw him bring out two wooden frames. He put them together, put them in the tent, laid a piece of plywood board inside the frame and presto, a camp bed. James was camping but sleeping in comfort. Rest in peace James.

Sending our sincere to the MacIsaac Family on the loss of James. He was community spirited and sure had a love of the Fiddle. He beamed when he played, he was always in good cheer, and will be missed. R.I.P He played his fiddle for both our daughters weddings in St. Andrew's church, " Faded Love" was one choice of his and its a beautiful tune.
