Obituary of Nora Anderson

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nora Anderson announces her peaceful passing on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre with her loving family by her side at the age of 79. Born in Port aux Basques, she was the daughter of the late, Wilson and Martha (nee Osmond) Warren. A loving, wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Nora will be sadly missed and never forgotten by her loving husband of 63 years, Corwin Anderson, her daughter, Pauline (Garry) Osmond, son, Craig Anderson (Elizabeth), her pride and joy, grandchildren, Neil (Kelly) Strickland, Jacqueline Sweet (Justise) great grandchildren, Keegan, Thomas, Alexander and Atlas. Also left to mourn and never be forgotten by her sisters, Betty (Dave) Osmond and Lavina Osmond (Eugene), sister-in-law, Phyllis Anderson (Bill), Geraldine Anderson and brothers in law, Fred Buttery, nieces and nephews, Jane, Wilson, Enfield, Colette, Colin, Wade and extended family and friends special friend , Maryanne Lundgren. She was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law, John and Emmaline Anderson, sister, Dora Warren, brothers and sisters-in-laws, Fred Osmond, Earl Osmond, Charlie (Lorena) Anderson, Jessie Buttery and Jack Anderson. A special thank you to Dr. Thomas and staff of Dr. Charles LeGrow Health. In keeping with Nora’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 26, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 27, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques with a private family service to follow.
