It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Bennett announce his passing at home on Tuesday, October 11th, at the age of 89, with his loving family by his side. Born in Petites, Gordon was the son of the late Samuel and Kyra (nee Mauger) Bennett. Gordon leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 56 years, Rita Bennett (nee Pink), his loving children; John Bennett (Trina MacDonald), Paul Bennett (Rona), Jason Bennett (Jennifer Saunders), Justin Bennett (Holly Williams), his pride and joy grandchildren; Rogan Seaward, Mason (Jenna) Bennett, Kayla, Makenna, Cole, and Trystan Bennett, great-granddaughter; Madelyn Bennett. He will also be sadly missed by his sister, Leila (Bryson) Webb, brothers and sisters-in-law; Kathleen Brown, Clarence (Donna) Pink, Valerie Pink, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by mother and father in law Randall and Evelyn Pink, sister and brother in laws, Nancy (Wallace) Andrews, Melvin Pink, Clarence Brown, Austin Pink. In keeping with Gordon’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will take place.
