It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, Margaret Crewe on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, with her loving sister in law, Mary by her side. Born in Port aux Basques, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Esther (nee Hardy) Spencer.

Margaret leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 47 years, Maxwell, her loving daughter, Michelle Crewe (Chris Downey), her sons, Michael (Teresa) and Mark (Trina) Crewe, her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Morgan and Matthew.

Also left to mourn Margaret’s sisters and brothers, Sue (LeRoy) Edmunds, Winnie (John) Hoyt, Eileen (Cliff) Dingwell, Pearl (Joe) Francis, Cecil (Rosanna) Spencer, Gary Spencer, Barry (Sandra) Spencer, Dave Spencer, Paul (Tracy Currie) Spencer, brother and sisters in laws, Murray (Yvonne) Crewe, Joanne Spencer and Mary Spencer, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.

Margaret was predeceased by her siblings, Samuel Spencer, Millie Spencer and Bill Spencer.

In keeping with Margaret’s wishes cremation has taken place. No funeral service or visitation will take place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made Heart and Stroke Foundation.
