Obituary of Monica MacIsaac
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Monica MacIsaac announces her passing at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre on Wednesday, July 3 at the age of 94 with her loving family by her side. Born in Back of Pond, Stephenville, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Flora Ann (nee Bourgeosis) White. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children, Agnes MacIsaac, Joan (Rick) Matthews, Peggy Reid, Lorna (Brian) Gale, John (Sharon) MacIsaac, Patrick MacIsaac, Micheal (Dorothy) MacIsaac, Selma (Harry) Kilpatrick and Rick MacIsaac (Tanya Remillard), sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, sister Wilfreida Bungay, several nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends, and her home care workers, Natasha MacIsaac, and Elizabeth Lomond. Monica was predeceased by her husband, Richard, son, Andrew, son-in-law, Thomas Reid, brothers and sisters and in-laws. The family will be receiving friends at the Church of Precious Blood in St. Andrew’s on Sunday, July 7, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, July 8 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Lee Lainey officiating. In keeping with Monica’s wishes cremation to follow. In memory of Monica donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
