It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Paul Barnes announces his passing on Thursday, June 22, 2023, with his loving family by his side at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 56 years. Born in Port aux Basques, he was the son of Stella “Dale” and the late Arthur Barnes. He will be forever missed by his mother, Stella “Dale”, brother, Lorne Barnes (Bobby Jo Cluett) Grand Falls and sister, Suzette (Robert) Sheaves, Greenwood, NS, niece, Robin Sheaves, nephews, Christopher Barnes, Tyson Barnes and James Sheaves, large circle of friends and extended family.

Paul was predeceased by his father, Arthur Barnes, brother, Roland Barnes and niece, Jessica Lynn Charleton.

Family and friends may visit Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street on Sunday, June 25th from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00 -9:00 p.m. In keeping with Paul’s wishes cremation to follow, with a private family interment.
