It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Judith Andrews announce her passing on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basques at the age of 77 years with her loving family by her side. Born in England, Judith was the daughter of the late Frederick and Joyce (née Stewart) Samms.

Judith leaves behind with many fond and precious memories, her loving husband of 59 years, Abraham “Abe” Andrews, her children, Michelle (Bruce) King, Lloydminster, Alberta, Jennifer (Paul) Osmond and Mark Andrews (Jodi) both of Port aux Basques, daughter-in-law, Jackie Andrews, Lloydminster, Alberta, grandchildren, Brandon, Shannon, Bradley, Jacqueline, Matthew, Andrew, Blake, Emma and Mya, and great grandchildren, Emily, Madison, KC, Leighton, Alexander, Atlas, brothers and sisters in law, Claude (Carol) Andrews, Phyllis Andrews, Loretta, Phyllis, Clarence, Bobby, Victor, Jamie, Andrea, Nadine and Faith, her dog, Jake, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Judith was predeceased by her son, Peter Andrews, and sister, Kathleen “Kay” Samms, nephew David Andrews.

Family and friends may visit Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques on Friday, July 14th from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 15th at 2:00 P.M from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Jane Allen officiating with interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made graciously to the family.
