It is with great sadness that the family of the late Emma “Sis” Ingram announces her peaceful passing on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Dr. Charles Legrow Long Term Care at the age of 95. Born in Port aux Basques, Sis was the daughter of the late John and Julia (Vautier) Ingram. Sis leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories; brothers, Bob (Lucy) Ingram, and Doug Ingram; and sister, Lena “Collie” Ingram, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Sis was predeceased by brothers, Eric (Kay), Gerald (Wilhelmena), Henry, and Bill, sister in law, Jacqueline and nephew, Barry. The family will be receiving friends and family on Wednesday, July 26, from 1:00 – 3:30 P.M. at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques with a funeral service to follow at 3:30 P.M, with Rev. Jane Allen officiating, and interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in memory of Sis may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
