It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Victor Hatcher announce his sudden passing at home on September 17, 2023 at the age of 79 years. Born in Isle aux Morts, Victor was the son of the late Howard and Jane (nee MacDonald) Hatcher.

Victor leaves behind with many fond and precious memories, his loving wife of 59 years, Lorraine Hatcher, his children, Wendy (Ricky) Hardy, Victor (Sharon) Hatcher, and Troy (Erica) Hatcher, grandchildren, Damien (Sherry) Hatcher, Hannah (Michael) Hatcher, Cassandra (Marcus) Hatcher, Matthew (Victoria) Hatcher, Christian, Colin, Aaron, Aiden, Ashton, and great grandchildren, Vincent, Taylor, Carley, Lilly, Katie, Nathan, and Lincoln, sister, Margaret Lawrence, brother in law and sisters in law, Thomas (Pam) Peterson, Minnie Hatcher, Geraldine Hatcher and Carol Rabideau, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Victor was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Emma Leamon, Marie Meade, John William Hatcher, Cecil Hatcher, Carrie Burgess, David Hatcher, Donald Hatcher, Alexander Hatcher, Alice Croucher, Reginald Hatcher, and sister in law, Marie Burns.

Family and friends may visit Oceanside Funeral Home on Thursday, September 21st from 7-9 p.m. and continue Friday, September 22nd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church, Burnt Islands. Funeral service will be held on September 23rd, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Dianna Fry. Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery.
