Obituary of John Calvin Kettle

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Calvin “Chaz” Kettle announces his passing on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Western Regional Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 69. Born in Port aux Basques he was the son of the late Martin and Annie (Nee Carter) Kettle.  He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his daughter, Monica (Roger) MacNeil, Port aux Basques,  sons, Brian Kettle and Keith Kettle (Crystal Fossil), grandchildren, Samspon and Meriah  MacNeil and Calvin Kettle,  great granddaughters, Tesla and Raiya, sisters, Nancy (Harold) Blackmore of St. John's, NL, Ethel (Paul) Blinkhorn of Halifax, NS, Natosha (Timothy) Romeo of Sydney, NS, Deborah Kettle (Brian) of Port aux Basques, NL, Margaret (Orrin) Scott of Lake Echo, NS; brothers-in-law Bronson (Harriet) Kettle of BC. Calvin was predeceased by brothers, Ralph, Albert, Tom, Jim and Max. Arrangements are under the care of Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques.  In keeping with Chaz’s wishes cremation has taken place.
