Shirley,Hilda,Joan,Tony,Andrew and Family,
We are so sorry and saddened to learn of Frank's passing. Our deepest condolences go out to you all.He was a very kind and caring person who would help you in any way possible. It was several years ago since we have seen him and that was the time in Florida our flight had been changed to another airport and Frank insisted on driving all the way out to pick us up so we wouldn't have to rent another car.
Treasure the many memories you all have of Frank and may you find comfort from them in the days ahead.
Out thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I remember Frank from when I was a kid in high school and Frank was my bus driver. Then when I got older and married we had some short visits with Frank and Shirley when we came home and they were at Lionel & Ruth’s place. We had some grand chats and it was always wonderful to chat to Frank. He will be missed and I would like to send my condolences to Shirley as well as Joan and his mother, Hilda. May your memories of Frank get you through this very difficult time.

Besides Frank's lovely smile and beautiful speaking voice, I will always remember the day when we (DFO) checked him, Shirley and her 2 sisters! The women were having a wonderful day while poor Frank was green around the gills and hanging by the side! He weathered the ribbing of all the women (me included) but valiantly refused to head to shore because the women were having a great time! He was a lovely man.
My sincere condolences to Shirley, his mother, Joan, Andrew and all his family! He is in God's holy realm!

How sad we are to hear of Frank's passing. He was a gentle, sweet person; a special cousin.
One of my favourite memories of visiting with Auntie Hilda, Uncle George, Frank and Joan in Port-aux-Basques was during Easter holidays when I was eleven. Frank and I were close in age and even then I knew he had an interest in tractors and tow-trucks. Frank couldn't wait, he said, to show me some kind of 'snow-machine'. (I know now it might have been something similar to a B13 Bombardier!)
Frank sat in the driver's seat, me...the passenger. Frank proceeded to name all the gadgets on the instrument panel, explaining their purpose while I sat there, unimpressed. He was definitely in his element.
I managed to pull out the cigarette lighter and stuck my thumb in to see if it was working! It sure was!! It was red hot and I had a burn that had to be tended on for the next four days. Frank got a bigger shock than I did! And being the kind-hearted person he was, he willingly played cards and board games with me for the remainder of my stay. I knew he was special...then and always. Love to all his family, Karen

The fun all we cousins had together over the years... Posing for umpteen hundred family pix... Building houses in Gang's back garden and pretending we were setting sail in the dory by tge fence... Listening to music on the 8-track in the car at Codroy whilst the grownups did their own thing... And the thing Frank did with the knife blade... "Every time you see a knife like this, you'll turn it over and think of me," he said.. And he was right. Keep on chuckling through the halls of heaven, Frank!

We were so sorry to hear of Franks passing and we know he will be greatly missed. I have many fond memories of Frank driving our school bus when I was a teenager and he always had that big smile for you when you got on the bus. That smile never changed although Frank’s circumstances changed and even this summer when he visited he had that smile and a story to tell . Our heart felt love and sympathy to Shirley, Hilda, Joan and the extended family . We know those who loved him most will miss him most. But the world is a sadder place without Frank and he will be missed by many

Shirley, Mrs.Pike, Joan and family,
I’m so sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. Frank and I grew up together, I remember both of us starting kindergarden together and it was from there we became lifelong friends. I have many fond memories of Frank and myself. I think one of my best memories and there are many, is when Frank, Wayne Law and myself would go to Corner Brook to bring out new cars for George, We would love to go, not knowing what you would get to bring out, it could be a Dart Swinger, or the Coronet R/T, but whatever it was, you could be sure we had lots of fun driving those cars out to George’s car lot.
Shirley, I know what it’s like to walk in your shoes, rest assured of our prayers and trusting that God will strengthen you in the days to come. Take care.
