Clayton "Pinky" Pink Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clayton Pink announces his passing on February 5th, 2024, at the age of 90, with his loving family by his side. Born in Cape La Hune, he was the son of the late Stanley and Berthannia Pink.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories brother, Ken (Harriet-Ann) Pink, his special nephew Paul (Cecelia) Scott, special niece, Anetha (Clayton) Francis, who since the passing of his wife was there for him and made sure he was always taken care of; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Although he had no children of his own, he was loved by all of his nieces and nephews, and he loved them all like they were his own.

Clayton was predeceased by his loving wife, Annie Florence Pink, brothers, Walter (Lizzie) Pink, Roy Pink, sisters, Sue (Tertius) Percy, Edna (Bill) Durnford, special niece, Pat Dicks, and brothers and sisters in laws.

Clayton (Pinky), had a love for the sea. His weathered hands and his tales of the sea reflected a lifetime spent fishing. Beyond the waves, his warm smile endeared him to all. He spent many years until retirement as a fisherman on the Cape Beaver in Lunenburg Nova Scotia.

A special thanks to everyone at Mountain Hope Manor and Long-Term Care for all the care and compassion shown to Pinky over the past several years.
