It is with great sadness that the family of the late Suzanne Sheaves-LeFrense announces her peaceful passing on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Hospital with the loving family by her side at the age of 72. Born in Port aux Basques, Suzanne was the daughter of the late Edward and Priscilla (nee Mullins) Sheaves.
Suzanne leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her fiancé, Tom Baker, her daughter, Tracy (Allan Keith) Maguire, her son, Raymond (Vicki Kozmak) LeFrense, the apple of her eye her grandson, Riley.
She will never be forgotten by her loving sister, Diane (Clayton) Greene, brothers, Wayne (Sharon) Sheaves and Greg Sheaves (Mary LeFrense), her nieces and nephews, Paul (Mylyn) Greene, Dwayne (Sheila) Greene, Sara (Damian) Ford and Lukas (Tyler) Sheaves, and a large circle of friends.
The family will be receiving friends and family on Tuesday, February 27th from 7:00 -9:00 P.M. and Wednesday, February 28 from 2:00 -4:00 & 7:00 -9:00 p.m. at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 29th at 2:00 p.m. from Wesley United Church in Port aux Basques, with Rev. Patricia Ritchie and Joan Chaisson officiating, in keeping with Suzanne’s wishes cremation to follow. Interment will be at a later date.
