It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jimmy Drake announces his sudden passing at home on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, at the age of 50. Born in Port aux Basques, Jimmy was the son of Laura and James Drake.

Jimmy leaves to mourn with loving memories, his parents, son, Austin (Jordon), stepson, Tyson, grandchildren Stella Rose, Salem, brother, Christopher (Koren), niece Terri-Lynn, nephew, William (Sydney), aunts, Jeannie (David), Maggie, Sadie, uncles, George (Cora), Tom (Pauline), Albie, Graham (Angela), and his furry companion, Jake, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Jimmy was predeceased by uncles, Stan, Leslie, aunts, Kay, Violet, grandparents, Lucy and Wallace Lawence and Corella and Stanley Drake.

In keeping with Jimmy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends may visit Oceanside Funeral Home on Thursday, March 7th from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, March 8th at 2: 00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Jane Allen officiating, with interment to follow at Salvation Army. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jimmy may be made graciously to the family.
