It is with heavy hearts that the family of Beverley McIsaac (née Langford) announces her passing on Wednesday, March 20 th , 2024. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beverley was the daughter of the late Randy & Myrtle (née Osmond) Langford of Hampden, NL. Throughout her career spanning over four decades, Beverley worked as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, and nurse educator. Her devotion to nursing took her to various regions within the province and across the country, including to Canada’s North. Her legacy is one of compassion, professionalism, and a relentless pursuit of patient care excellence. Beverley’s tireless efforts have left an indelible mark on those she touched, inspiring countless other healthcare professionals to follow in her footsteps. Beverley’s legacy lives on through her loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Wilfred of St. Andrews, and her son, Scott (Karyla) of Calgary, Alberta, as well as her faithful dog, Archie. Her sisters—Trixie Bursey (Mike McGaw) of Uxbridge, Ontario, Blanche Brake (Alphonse) of Clarenville, Trudy Langford of Toronto, Ontario, and Susan McCulley (Larry) of Diligent River, Nova Scotia—mourn her passing. Additionally, her brothers—Robert (Wendy) of Sarnia, Ontario, Elvis (Janet) of Lynden, Washington, Roger of Toronto, Ontario, and Ford of Kissimmee, Florida—share in this grief. In addition to her immediate family, Beverley leaves behind sisters-in-law: Nora Burton (Bill) of Corner Brook, Maude Burt (Dave) of Corner Brook, Shirley Pike of St. Andrews, and Ruth Forsey (Lionel) of Pasadena. Her memory will be treasured by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members who were touched by her kindness and warmth. Beverley was predeceased by her mother and father- in- law, Mary and Archie McIsaac and brother-in-law, Frank Pike. In keeping with Beverley’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving family and friends at Oceanside Funeral Home on Thursday, March 21st from 2:00-4:00 P.M and 6:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral Service will be held at Oceanside Funeral Home on Friday, March 22nd at 2:00 P.M with Rev. Jane Allen officiating. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre Foundation. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Oceanside Funeral Home, located at 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques. “Don’t cry because I am gone, smile because I was here.”
