Obituary of Gordon MacIsaac

It is with heartfelt sadness the family of Gordon Maclsaac would like to announce his passing on Thursday, June 27th, 2024. He was the son of the late Neil and Mary (nee Hynes) MacIsaac. Gordon is survived by his daughter - Vanessa, and son - Dean (Samantha); brother - Eddy; grandchildren - Ewan and Liam; sisters-in-law - Ita and Linda, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents - Neil Maclsaac and Mary (Hynes) Maclsaac; sisters - Millie and Joan (Kevin); brothers - Gerry, Martin, and Francis; and sister-in-law - Maria. Gordon was born in Codroy Valley where he returned upon retirement in 2004. He moved to Labrador City in 1968 to work for the Iron Ore Company of Canada. In keeping with Gordon’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial church service will be held at 11:00 am, August 2nd at the Roman Catholic Church of the Precious Blood in St. Andrew's, with interment to follow at Precious Blood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada at mscanada.donorportal.ca.
