It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Donald Skinner announces his passing on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 at the age of 75. Born in Isle aux Morts, he was the son of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Seymour) Skinner. Donald was predeceased by his beloved wife of 43 years, Juanita (Keeping) Skinner. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his love, Marilyn Crowell, his children, Rick (Penny) Skinner, Trudy (Perry) Keeping, Michelle (Paul) Barter, Matthew Crowell, his grandchildren Julia Keeping, Mackenzie Skinner, Joshua Skinner, Mason Barter, his brothers and sisters, Roger (Ethel) Skinner, Marlene (Kevin) McCarthy, Arthur (Mary) Skinner, Corey (Patti) Skinner, Quinton (Sherri) Skinner, Edith (Nev) Sampson, Ann Marie (Eric) Cunard, nieces and nephews, extended Harvey and Keeping families, and a large circle of friends. He was also predeceased by his brother, Ricky Skinner. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6th from 7-9 pm,and Monday, October 7th from 2-4 p.m. at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques, Monday October 7th from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday October 8th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Holy Spirit Church in Isle aux Morts. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 9th at 11:00  a.m. officiated by Rev. Nathan Culter, interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery Isle aux Morts Road.
