It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Ellen Harvey (nee Walters) announce her sudden passing on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital at the age of 62. Born in Port aux Basques, she was the daughter of the late John William and Beulah (Baggs) Walters.

Ellen leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving children, Candace Harvey (Josh Dalzeil), Shannon (Sadie) Harvey, Dawn Harvey (Johnny Keeping) and Clifford Harvey (Krista Chaulk), her pride and joy grandson, Mason Harvey and grandchildren, Victoria Seymour, Emma Richards, Anna Harvey (Cameron Hann), Karla Harvey and great grandson, Rowan Richards.

Ellen will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters, Wayne (Alfreda) Walters, George (Mary Lynn) Walters, Gussie Anderson, Eric Walters, Pauline (Eddy) Ryan, Wilson (Helena) Walters, Kenny Roy (Karen) Walters, Donovan (Carol) Walters, Lisa (Bobby) Bird, brothers and sisters in laws, Evelyn (Albert) Harvey, brothers, Ephraim (Sabrina) Harvey, Rex (Trudy) Harvey, Louise Harvey, Sylvia Harvey and Liz Harvey, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Gary, daughter, Nadia Harvey, grandson, Eli Harvey, mother and father-in-law, William and Agnes (Hiscock) Harvey, brothers and sisters in laws, Robert Walters and Linda Walters, Bill Harvey, Douglas (Elizabeth) Harvey, Roger and Ross Harvey, Isabella (Lockland) Keeping.

In keeping with Ellen’s wishes, cremation has taken place; family and friends may visit Holy Spirit Anglican Church, Isle aux Morts on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 2:00 -4:00 & 7:00 -9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 14th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ken Abbott officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery. Flowers accepted or donations in Ellen’s memory may be made to Holy Spirit Anglican Church.
