Obituary of Sadie Organ

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sadie Organ announces her passing on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, with her loving family by her side at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basques at the age of 99 years. Born in Isle-aux-Morts, Sadie was the daughter of the late Jim and Jessie (nee Walters) Harvey. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons,  Hickman (Ruth) Organ, Archibald (Gladys) Organ, Roger (Joanne) Organ, Ronnie Organ, all of Isle aux Morts, and Bishop John (Irene) Organ, Corner Brook, daughters, Melissa (Bill) Parsons, North Sydney, NS, Jessie Thorne, Dartmouth, NS, Susan (Phil) Hibbs, Victoria, BC, Ann (Max) Clarke, Harbour le Cou, NL and Wanda Organ, Duncan, BC. Sadie is remembered by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and a large circle of family, friends and caregiver, Annie Kinslow. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, George, sons, Denny and Freeman, great-granddaughter Katelyn Organ, son-in-law, Walter Thorne, and daughter in law, Cecelia Organ. Family and friends may visit the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Mort on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Bishop John Organ. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Spirit Anglican Church.
