It is with deep sadness and the heaviest of hearts that the family of the late Dustin Nathan John Vautier-Dicks announces his sudden passing on January 1st, 2025, at the age of 31. Born in Port aux Basques, Dustin was the son of Brian and Claudia Vautier (nee Dicks).
Dustin leaves to mourn with loving and precious memories, his parents, Brian and Claudia, sister Denesta Vautier-Dicks (Nathan Hayward), grandparents, Ivan and Ruby Dicks, and Sybil King. He also leaves to mourn, his aunts and uncles, Sonya (Baine) Hodder, Justin King, Boyd Osmond, Kim (Tom) Anderson, Tina (Dave) Pitchuck, Ivan Dicks (Skye Burke), his cats, Milo and Ginger, cousins, Vanessa, Julissa, Starr, Hunter, and Morgan, plus a large circle of extended family, and many friends.
Dustin was the jack of all trades, and his smile and witty ways could light up a room. He always checked in to make sure those around him were doing okay, and he could make anyone laugh with just one word. Dustin was a proud son to his parents, a bubby to his sister, a friend to many, and he will forever be missed.
Dustin was predeceased by his grandfather, Gerald Wayne King.
In keeping with Dustin’s wishes, cremation has taken place; family and friends may visit Oceanside Funeral Home on Monday, January 6th, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A private family service will be held. Interment will take place on Saturday, September 27th, at 2P.M at St. James Anglican Cemetery. Flowers accepted or donations in Dustin’s memory may be graciously made to the family.
