Obituary of Minnie Durnford

On Monday, January 20th, 2020 our hearts were filled with sadness as our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Minnie Durnford, passed away suddenly at home at the age of 86 years with her loving family by her side. Born in Francois she was the daughter of the late James and Abigail (Pink) Lushman. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her stepchildren, Mildred (Dave) Spencer, Jordan Skinner (Jessica Molnar), Lloyd (Norma) Marsden and Allison Skinner, grandson, Avery, caregivers, Julie Bond and Brenna Walters, sisters and brother in law, Audrey Dicks and Dorothy (Edwin) Roberts, brothers and sisters in laws, Gordon (Sarah) Durnford, and Mary Skinner, large circles of nieces, nephews and friends. Minnie was predeceased by her husband, Reginald Durnford, sister, Hazel Lushman and sister and brothers in laws, Albert Lushman, Jack Dicks, William and Edna Durnford, Melvin Skinner, Ida and Robert Parsons. Family and friends may visit the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Mort on Thursday, January 23 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Nathan Culter, interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery Isle aux Morts Road. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dialysis Unit at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre .
