Obituary of Roland Billard

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Roland James Billard announces his passing on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 75. Born in Margaree, he was the son of the late Peter and Emma (nee MacDonald) Billard. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son, Steven Billard (Paula Simms), daughter, Nicole Billard, their mother, Bernice Billard and grandson, Logan Billard, sister, Annie Walters, large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Roland was predeceased by sisters, Ruby Currie, and Olive (Freeman) Northcott, brothers, Henry (Phyllis) Billard, Cyril (Audrey) Billard, and brothers-in-law Gus Walters. In keeping with Roland’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends and family on Monday, August 17th, 2020 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques.
