Obituary of Edith Kinslow

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edith Kinslow announces her peaceful passing on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 62 with her loving family by her side. Born in Burnt Islands, Edith was the daughter of the late Cyril and Emma Jane (nee Seymour) Keeping. Edith leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 45 years, Israel, her son, Justin (Sherri) Kinslow, her pride and joy grandson, Owen, son-in-law, Jay Wolfe, brothers and sisters, Sheila Keeping, Maxine Spicer, Alice Keeping, Max (Linda) Keeping, Gerald (Barbara) Keeping, Raymond Keeping and George “Mickey” Keeping, brothers and sister-in-laws, Morris Kinslow, Warden Kinslow, Leonard (Michelle) Kinslow, Joanne (Angus) Frampton, Sharon Kinslow and Claudine (Wayne) Samson and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Edith was predeceased by her daughter, Sonya Kinslow, mother and father in law, Claude and Florence Kinslow, brother, Ronnie Keeping, brothers-in-laws, Henry Keeping, Roy Spicer and Dean Kinslow. In keeping with Edith’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 10 at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Spirit Anglican Church, Isle aux Morts with Rev. Nathan Culter officiating, interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
