It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eric Richards announces his passing on Tuesday, March 16th, 2021 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, at the age of 78 with his loving family by his side. Born in Port aux Basques, Eric was the son of the late William and Maude Richards (nee Keeping). Eric leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his daughter Tracy (Robert) Warren, and his grandson, Zackery, brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Eric was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Eric was predeceased by his wife, Sarah in 2014.

In keeping with Eric’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving family and friends on Sunday, March 21st, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street. A private graveside service will follow.
