l am sorry to hear about Sandy's passing. He was a great friend and co worker and I will always remember the great times and laughs we had together. We visited him at his home after his retirement and he often came to Nova Scotia. He will never be forgotten. RIP my friend.
Your friend Diane

Many years ago Sandy used to visit my parents, Dot (White) (his first cousin) & Jim Doyle. They were always pleasant visits. Sandy was always kind and friendly, whenever I'd see him around town. Our condolences to Ronnie and all of his family. May Sandy rest in peace.

my mom was Mary macinnis and was very fd of Sandy. I don't know all the details but it seems mom was like a mother figure to Sandy. mom told me how upset Sandy was with Bill O'Quinn when he married mom which of course meant mom moving to Millville from Oregans which was a long way back then. I believe Sandy was around 9 years old when mom married. he must have forgiven dad as I recall him visiting our home as an adult. my sympathies to Ronald and all his family members. joan barnes (nee- O'Quinn)j

So sad, a member of our little community of O’Regans gone but not forgotten!!! Sandy was a big part of our childhood memories being a next door neighbour & even a teacher in our little one room school here! So many good memories & he had a way of making everyone smile with his witty comments & facial expressions!!! RIP Sandy!
Sincere Condolence to Ronnie, Jimmie & Cathy & all family members!

My cousin Sandy was one of the kindest people you could have ever met. He was also an avid family historian and got me interested in learning about the Gillis family. He will be missed very much.
