It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alexander “Sandy” MacInnis announces his passing on Sunday, November 24th, 2024, at Western Long Term Care Home at the age of 84, with his loving family by his side. Born in Codroy, he was the son of the late Sandy and Muriel (nee Gillis) MacInnis.
Sandy leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his brother, Ronald MacInnis, nephew, Jim (Wilma) MacInnis, niece, Cathy (Jan) Peddle, great nieces and nephews, Danielle, Rosemary, David, Adam and Patrick, plus a large circle of cousins, extended family and many friends.
Sandy was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Ada MacInnis.
In keeping with Sandy's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 26th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. with a wake service starting at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, November 27th at 11:00 a.m. with Father Prakash officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Green Cemetery, Great Codroy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Parish.
